I agree, they can only show some principal components. Useful for some groups ethnically close but not to represent everything accurately all at once. I ve said many times the only way to represent genetic somewhat accurately is multi dimensional but on a forum we can only see 2d so far (at least this one).

They are closer to the Levant, not Africa. North Africa has too much SSA, even a little bit of SSA will draw someone very far away because it's so distant. They are closer to North African Jews however, who have less SSA and elevated EEF(opposed to Levant_N/Iran_N/etc).

Your graphic confirms my statement. If we take the German/french/British section as core area of europe, then south Italy is Much closer to maghreb. They're basically like jewish

It's funny how some insist and insist over and over again in trying to explain the europeanness --in case that thing and concept exist and in which way-- with a bunch of figures and diagrams.

To try to understand what Europe is, we should defiine first what it is, and in order to get it we should to know it, including especially its history and the population movements within it during history.

They are equidistant from French and Druzes/Christian Lebanese. Other Levantines have significant SSA admixture.
