Hey what up Luso glad to have you back. Look I thought you already had come in terms with your superwog status but whatever. I have no fkn idea about why somebody being 99% european is as dark as you are, I suppose you are just heavily tanned and some of it stays permanent, or for a very long time at least. Maybe it is a Trans-Mediterranean trait? My skin is rather pale-ish in the unexposed areas (inside T shirts), yet I can tan pretty dark too and it stays for a long time aswell. I doubt it has anything to do with being 3% non-european as those percentages are negligible and typical for any southern european. Also I believe you took the picture with flash which sometimes makes people a bit darker.

Compare to years ago when I was heavily tanned, next to my castiza mother who by skin tone is a bit ligther and therefore tans less.

Just sayin you care too much. I've seen you in other pictures without flash and you are not as dark as you think. If you want my advice start lifting weights, some paleface bodybuilders would be jealous of your complexion as it makes the muscles look more defined

People get obsessed about these sorts of things when they are deracinated, cut off from their roots. In the case of US, the sense of ethnic identity there is very shallow. You have people who will say things like "Oh, I'm so Italian" yet don't speak the language, don't follow customs, probably don't even know where in Italy their family was from, etc etc. All they have left is their phenotype and genetics because they have been completely cut off from their traditions and culture, its sad actually.
