Are Brazilians Latin Americans? Do they consider themselves so?

Anyway, a good part of responsibility about those medals must depend on the facilities --and policies-- to train on olympic sports.

There are latam countries that perform bad regardless. Even in sports that only require a ball to practice it.

Looking at the map, the more Native American admixture, the less athletic the country is on average

Predominantly White and/or Black countries in Latin America perform better at sports on average for physical reasons than Native Americans (who are shorter and not muscular)

If we take just football for instance, it's difficult to find a world-class pure or a pred. Native American player, they are all either Mulatto/Black (Brazil), Castizo-Harnizo-Mestizo (Mexico, Colombia triracials), or almost-fully White (Argentinians, Uruguay)
We do not drink Coca-Cola three hours before a match

^ So as I said, we don't see Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala (the most Native Americans countries AFAIK) in any of those rankings

About 25% of the American world boxing tittles have been won by Mexican-Americans.
Oscar De La Hoya was easily the most popular boxer in the world in the 1990's and earned the most during the 1990's.

Talking about football, the Bolivian national team has a single Copa America title won in Bolivia in 1963, but reading about the tournament Brazil and Argentina played with under-20 teams and Uruguay did not participate, and also has a "Bolivian altidude" factor that always helps the Bolivian frank teams in the Copa Libertadores for example.

Peru, has a more successful selection, but the Peruvian selection has many blacks, so can this explain such success.

Ecuador, the same thing as Peru, but with a greater number of blacks, the Ecuadorian team is strong, nothing that comes close to Brazil and Argentina, but it is a team with a good level. The Ecuadorian teams are also very good, they have already won the Copa Libertadores and have reached and three other finals.

Guatemala and all Central American countries with the exception of Panama and Costa Rica, are terrible, horrible at all levels of football.

That baseball ranking is a joke.

USA, Japan and the Dominican Republic should be the top 3. Unless that's the top 10 at Olympic level or something.
