That's it. You have a German descent way of view. I agree with you. My cousin is Polish descent. His father is 100% Polish. I have most Latin ancestry (Italian and Spanish), but also Levantine and French. Also, as a compatriot said in another thread, we have more Asians than Amerindians (unfortunately, that means <1%). And a large population remains unmixed in Southern states and countryside Southeastern states. Latin for all of us doesn't fit very well as a glove.

Things don't come to Brazil from Europe or Latin America?, La casa de Papel was a boom in Brazil, and other Mexican soap operas were adapted to Brazil, and programs like El Chavo had a good reputation in Brazil.

Yes, but same way that Turkish soap operas are somewhat popular, as is Anime for kids or Game of Thrones.

The fact is: the common brazilian don't care about the label. He'll only care if he moves to US, and mostly after some time will say they are not Latinos because the concepts regarding it are almost alien (no, no brazilian has an "abuela" and eat tacos everyday at home, anyway). Interesting enough, more and more I see on internet some americans saying that brazilians are not latinos at all, specially those who have some proper exchange with us.

Still, still...we are Latinos because the overall concept of it. Maybe a weird, different and totally alien kind, but we are.

I would say spanish things penetrate in Brazil, many movies and series are from Spain, even ahead of France or England in recent years. But we cant say the same to Hispanic american countries, their things are not common in Brazil.
