Why greeks from mainland say they are the real greeks and not from islands it's the opposite.

It seems to me after I research the subject the real Greeks are those who have autosomals and are from the Greek Islands, not from the country. The Mainland Greeks know this and feel inferior. I think they know they are not real Greeks but mixed with Balkan people, or hellenised Albanian and Aromanian and South Slav so they attack the West Asian Greeks like Islanders on 23ame to hide the real truth.

"Greeks" from Mainland are not even inside top 20, only Laconia at rank 19, not even in mixed mode, even Armenian and Karaite get a hit in mixed mode but not mainland. Only West Asian Greeks from Islands are inside top 20 of similarity together with South Italy they are the real Greeks not the mixed mongrels of mainland with inferiority complex to the Island Greeks.

Not entirely true. Kind of a pointless post. Ancient Greek samples are still too few, and we don't even have mainland Iron Age Greek DNA. There's really no knowing for certain how admixture in the mainland may have fluctuated. It is true the Mycenean and EBA Greek samples seem to cluster best with islanders. However, one Greek sample from the middle Bronze Age clusters well with Mainland Northern Greeks, Italians, Albanians and other Balkanites, and this was long before the Slavs arrived. Considering this sample is closer to the Iron Age, it's likely there are either more samples like him, or Greeks were generally heterogeneous even back then.

You haven't really proven anything though. You really cannot expect ancient Greeks to have remained homogenous and Islander-like up until the migration era. That is literally asinine. Especially when we are basically discussing an ancient civilization that was like the "New York" or "Rome" if the time. They are likely not to have been very homogenous.

As I also stated, we still have zero Iron Age, late antiquity samples from the Greek mainland. According to some leaks, there is supposedly some coming and they are definitely not islander like. I don't disagree that early Proto-Greeks were more islander like.

If you expect that to have remained the case until the migration, then you're either completely ignorant of reality or have an agenda.
