Tajiks are less religious, right? less extreme. is there any idea of Greater Persia in the region? not necessarily political, at least cultural (Iranians, Kurds, Afghans, Tajiks..)

Haha nope, it's the opposite . Tajiks are the more religious ones especially here in the west, pashtuns have more of the " commie " mentality . Although generally both are moderatley practicing .

Tbh I think there is so much inter fighting between ethnic groups within those countries that I would hardly see a greater iranic bond between them . Although diaspora iranics are starting to open up to these ideas . Personally I think Iranians and Kurds have more in common with their immediate neighbiurs like Armenians and Arabs than afghans .
