No, but deliberately provoking people and calling them racial slurs is also a stupid and trashy thing to do and likely to elicit a violent response from some people. Unless he had dementia, he's not really worth caping for

You would have repsonded in the same way then, instead of just walking away or calling the police?
It was a really old man after all, not like he could run after you or something like that.

That isn't really the point, since I know plenty of people his age who are very agile. But anyone of any age could have died from blunt force trauma, which is what the cause of death was. All just because of a word.

No, I'm a very non-aggressive person and would've been more mindful of his advanced age in any case. It doesn't change the fact that the old man should've known better assuming he was lucid

Many people say things when they are angry. He may have been on medications or something too. No one has the right to hit him like that. Now his life is over too.

Well it’s the real world. Not your mamas house. Nobody out here is playing with you so you should be mindful of what you say to other people and if you decide going down that route you better be equipped to protect yourself.
