Question Which country is more 'latin american'?

    Just a shower thought/question.

Culturally and genetically speaking. In your opinion which of these countries are more deserving to be labeled as such?

*It is a multiple choice poll.

Bolivia would be the least, given its strong Amerindian heritage (even compared to Peru there is a marked difference).

    Intuitively:

    1) Colombia and Venezuela
    2) Mexico
    3) Dominican Republic
    4) Peru because a significant amount seem to be into tropical music in my experience
    5) Chile
    6) Paraguay
    7) Bolivia

"Culturally latin american" to me means being extroverted, spicy and festive basically as opposed to upper-class criollos with european sensibiltiies

That's more true of the Caribbean regions than elsewhere in Latin America.

Some Andean and Mesoamerican countries come kind of close from what I've seen. Most of the countries that feel extremely foreign to me as someone with dominican parents are in the southern cone area

Andean and Mesoamerican cultures are a lot more formal, sombre and serious than many people realise.

If this is to be Latin American, then I would include the countries of the Hispanic Caribbean, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. (no special order)
