Well there's nothing that said they had fur. It says humans were created in the image of God, I. E by implication humanoid, since there is no mention that we have gone through a significant change or metamorphosis. There is no reason why humans should have fur like animals.

Correct, but how do you know what god looked like in that fairy tale? Maybe he had a fur?!
