A few days ago the news broke and the video of a 31 year old Dutch tourist who died after jumping from a cliff in Mallorca went viral.
Now it has been learned that it was the former footballer Mourad Lamrabatte, who was currently a kickboxing trainer.

The victim miscalculated his somersault and crashed against the rocks. He died instantly and his body sank into the water. His partner and his son were recording the image with a cell phone from the rented boat with which they had reached the islet.

Francisco Javier Becerra, the confessed perpetrator of the death of Leslie Pearson, the 74-year-old British citizen living in Algar, told the judge who is investigating the case that the murder was due to "an impulse" in the course of a strong argument with the woman and that "I do not know how I could have done it. I am very sorry," he said.



"I came from the house to the garage and she was already here. We started arguing, we had a loud fight and on an impulse I grabbed her by the neck, knocked her down and that was it. It all happened right here. Very fast."

AFTER KILLING HER, HE TOOK HER UP TO THE SECOND FLOOR, PUT HER TO BED AND LEFT TO RETURN THE NEXT DAY TO BURY HER.

A drunk British tourist assaulted three national police officers at Alicante-Elche airport.

The arrested man reacted with great aggression when he realized that he was not carrying his passport.

A British tourist was arrested last weekend at Alicante-Elche airport after assaulting three National Police officers. The man, with obvious signs of drunkenness, responded aggressively when the police officers asked him for the passport required to enter Spanish soil. When he realized that he was not carrying it, he reacted very aggressively and injured three agents.

According to police sources, this is the second similar incident that has taken place in the same week and the agents are completely overwhelmed by the overload of work that has resulted from the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

The agents must now stamp the passports of all British tourists landing at Alicante-Elche airport, which are approximately 45% of the total volume of passengers at this aerodrome.

A young man serious after diving headfirst into a shallow pool in Magaluf

The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning while attempting to dive into a half-meter pool.

A 19-year-old young man was seriously injured early Tuesday morning after diving head first into a pool half a meter deep in a "beach club" in the area of Magaluf, in Calvià.

The accident occurred this Tuesday at about half past one in the morning in an establishment in Magaluf, reported in a note the Emergency Medical Care Service (SAMU 061).

An Advanced Life Support ambulance from SAMU 061 was sent to the scene of the accident to attend to the injured young man, who suffered polytrauma.

After stabilizing him, the "trauma code" was activated and he was taken urgently to the Hospital Universitario Son Espases, in Palma.

The Guardia Civil has arrested two men of Brazilian nationality and residents in the area, aged 29 and 37, for sexually abusing a young Swedish tourist, aged 20, in Magaluf.

According to the Guardia Civil, the sexual assault took place in the early hours of Friday to Saturday. It has also reported that the girl was in a drunken state on her way to her hotel, when the two men told her that they were taking her in their car.

Once inside, they went to a street and allegedly abused her, who reported the facts after going to a medical centre.

The Guardia Civil officers arrested the first of them last Sunday, and the other on Monday.

The two suspects were taken to the police court yesterday to make statements.

Agents of the National Police have seized 92 kilos of marijuana after dismantling a plantation of this substance installed in a luxury villa in the Valencian town of Chiva and have arrested a man on suspicion of drug trafficking and electricity fraud.

The Drugs and Organised Crime Unit (Udyco) of the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade of Valencia completed the police operation on 25 May after locating a luxury villa in the town of Chiva, where the agents found that the hydroponic cultivation of marijuana was being carried out and, for this purpose, the house was illegally connected to the electricity grid, the security forces and bodies have reported in a statement.

The house was located in an area surrounded by trees, which made surveillance difficult. Nevertheless, investigators located a plantation and seized some 92 kilos of marijuana, while arresting the suspect in charge of its care.

Arrested for sexual abuse of a tourist in Lloret de Mar: released from prison after being found not guilty of rape

The Mossos have arrested a 29-year-old resident of Lloret de Mar (Girona) for sexually abusing a tourist with chemical submission.

They are investigating whether the cigarette he offered to the victim contained a substance to render her unconscious and annul her will.

The accused was released from prison 15 days ago after being found not guilty by a court of a rape in 2020.

The Mossos have arrested a 29-year-old resident of Lloret de Mar (Gerona) as the alleged perpetrator of sexual abuse with chemical submission of a tourist just a fortnight after being released from prison after being found not guilty by a court of a rape in 2020.

The alleged assailant offered a cigarette to his victim
Mossos sources told EFE that the victim met her assailant on Tuesday night, 31 May, and that a few hours later, at around 5 a.m., they went together to Gran beach in Lloret, where he offered her a cigarette.

After smoking, according to the girl, she began to feel sick, dizzy and nauseous and said she could not remember almost anything of what had happened, but woke up a while later and saw that she was not wearing any underwear.

According to what the victim told the Mossos, shortly before she lost consciousness she remembers that the young man started touching her and although she told him to stop, he did not listen to her.

After lodging the complaint, the officers, in accordance with the protocol for possible cases of abuse or rape, took the young woman to Calella Hospital (Barcelona), where she underwent the corresponding medical examination. Subsequently, the girl lodged the complaint at the Blanes (Girona) duty court.

With all the information provided by the alleged victim, the investigators managed to arrest the alleged aggressor, Bouzian M.E.H., of Moroccan origin, on Friday, who is being investigated as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual abuse.

However, investigators are still making enquiries into the facts and are awaiting toxicological results to find out if the detainee put any substance in the cigarette he offered the victim to make her unconscious and override her will.

The detainee is expected to be brought before a court between Saturday and Sunday.

The detainee, found not guilty of a rape in 2020

The detainee, who had been remanded in custody since 16 July 2020, was released on 17 May after being found not guilty by a court in Girona of a rape that occurred two years ago.

The prisoner was tried in May for chasing a 21-year-old girl through the streets of Lloret de Mar in the early hours of 28 June 2020, and being accused of subsequently raping her in a landscaped park, a case for which he faced up to 12 years in prison.

The Chamber, faced with two contradictory statements - the accused defended that the relations were consensual - and the absence of witnesses, considered the girl's statement, which was "persistent and coincidental" and without spurious intent, as they did not know each other, to be fundamental as an element of proof. In addition, he said, his version was supported by the silence of the accused during the investigation of the case and the attempt to escape when he was identified and arrested. Tourist dies in Sitges after falling into the sea from the Baluard canyon

The 23-year-old British national had travelled with two friends to spend a few days' holiday in the town.



A British tourist lost his life in the early hours of Tuesday morning when he accidentally fell into the sea in Sitges (Barcelona). The young man, aged 23, had climbed up the Baluard canyon, one of the town's tourist and historical attractions, to take a photograph when he slipped and fell onto the rocks that protect the fort.

The local police received a call informing them of the incident at 3:12 am. Several members of the Mossos d'Esquadra, the local police, professionals from the Emergency Medical Service and the fire brigade were sent to the scene. However, they were unable to do anything to save the young man's life.

A journey that ended in tragedy
The alarm was raised by one of the two friends who accompanied the deceased. Apparently, all of them had travelled from the United Kingdom to spend a few days' holiday in the Barcelona municipality.

The police force of the Generalitat has opened an investigation to clarify the causes of the fatal accident. The facts have already been brought to the attention of the British consulate.
