Millones y millones de personas dependen directa e indirectamente del turismo en España (los trabajadores que trabajan directamente en el sector y todos los que dependen directamente de él)...

I do not deny it, but it is not the only one, nor should it be the one that is given more priority.

As you wrote yourself, there's tons of beaches, hotels and places to have fun, Wich by itself attracts tourists wether we want it or not...more so in Europe where the flights are really cheap and on most of the continent the weather is really shitty. Tourism adapted to the demand and grew with it, Wich in time became kind of a trap for certain regions/cities that rely too much on it.

Anyway lots of activities depend on it, the pandemic is not only a disaster for hotels, restaurants etc but also for airlines and indirectly to a huge number of activities.
