Amsterdam Schiphol. I've been transiting a number of times there.
From my P.O.V. Madrid Barajas is only useful if you want to go to Madrid.

Silly thread in hindsight. Madrid is only better for Latin America (and domestic flights within Spain itself). For most other parts of the world, Amsterdam is better-connected.
