This is a fascinating and famous case of the body of a man dressed in a suit found dead at Somerton Beach, a suburb of Adelaide 70 years ago. It is also where the three Beaumont children disappeared from in 1966.
Sleuths have been trying to solve this case for decades. The man was sitting upright with a half smoked cigarette resting on his chest. The case is also known as the Taman Shud case due to a scrap of paper found in a secret pocket inside the man's suit with the words Taman Shud meaning in Persian "It is finished".
A postmortem failed to establish a cause of death. There is some suggestion that he was a spy. All the labels were cut from his clothes. Wikipedia has a good lot of information about the case. Very interesting and well worth the read.

His body has been exhumed and they hope to get dna to find out where he comes from and if he has any descendants. This is a real life mystery that could be made into a movie.
