    Default Canarids

Sup everyone. Can anyone enlighten me on Canarids (the light phenotype of North Africa, usually found in Morocco, parts of Algeria and throughout Tunisia, also once found in Guanches)? It's related to CM Europeans, right?

    E-V22 - E-BY7449 - E-BY7566 - E-FT155550
According to oral family tradition E-FT155550 comes from a deserter of Napoleon's troops (1808-1813) who stayed in Spain and changed his surname.

You quite frankly did not fully understand my question. I was asking about people who look like this http://humanphenotypes.net/Canarid.html. What is their genetic story? At their origin, are they closer related to European CMs, or to the MENAs that make the majority today of North Africa's population?

I am pretty sure that genetic testing done on people of today would have a lot in common between these two groups of people, but if you look all the way back like thousands of years back, weren't the Canarids the CMs of North Africa, and MENAs went later to North Africa, the same way that the Neolithic people from South-Eastern Turkey went to Europe, therefore back in the day these Canarids being related to the CMs of Europe?

No, the “cromagnoid” group in North Africa was Iberomaursian and all modern North Africans have their dna. They were not related to European cromagnoids however and had different morphology. Canarians shared a lot of common dna from these people, including E-M78 haplogroup which is rare in North Africa today being replaced by E-M81
