I would choose France, specifically Montpellier (should not have to explain why) if pressed to name a place. Germany is fine but I don't think I could ever live there. Aber wenn ich sagen müsste, vielleicht bayern an die Alpengrenze. Berge, schöne Seen und das Mittelmeer ist auch nicht so weit weg. Ich war nur einmal ein Wochenende in Freiburg, da war alles so schön und heile und happy, das fand ich schon fast irgendwie beunruhigend, lol.

One of my cousins has lived in Hamburg for years so I have visited numerous times and it is nice enough, but the people are not very warm and it is kind of dull. Also, its too expensive. The food choices there suck a lot, everything I've tried has been really bland shit. The weather sucks ass. Public transportation and biking infrastructure however is quite good, between air, rail, bus, and taxi service you can literally travel from any doorstop to any other doorstop there conveniently without a car, its a pretty small city so everything is easy to get to, and there are plenty of parks and whatnot due to (I assume) the city getting bombed to shit during WWII. Berlin is a horribly ugly (however still rather interesting) city, but it is bigger than Hamburg so there is inevitably more stuff, it is very cosmopolitan (there every niche taste is catered for, ranging from the finest art to the most arcane sexual fetishes) and its not on the coast so there are more directions you can go to get to more new places quicker....but you have to get used to the smell of urine soooo

I don't have as much experience with other German cities that I didn't mention, and UK is just....no thanks.

Generally I am happy in the UK, though I'd consider either Toulon (nice city and not too big and dangerous) or Berlin (very arty and sensual) perhaps.
