Brace yourself, progressive winds have reached small Croatia! They say this is just the beginning...after taking power by a landslide victory in Croatian capital, which counts for nearly 1/4 of total population of the country, appetites for future Parliamentary elections are going big.

We Can! – Political Platform is a left-wing, green political party in Croatia formed by local green and leftist movements and initiatives in order act on national level for European Parliament and parliament elections.
The party was officially founded on 10 February 2019, prior to the elections for the European Parliament held that year, stating their primary areas of interest being better education, better health policies, social and gender equality, support for migrants, renewable sources of energy, and sustainable agriculture.

The party designates itself as a wide and progressive platform that aims to include members and voters that resonate with ideas across the entire spectrum of values on the left, including radical left politics, green and sustainable politics, to democratic socialism. The developmental models proposed models seek to reduce precarious forms of work, strengthen economic democracy, and to foster trade unions, as well as the legal rights of workers in general.

Leftist places are my destiny it seems. Budapest is also controlled by Green Left, and major of Budapest (also Berlin and Barcelona) were biggest supporters of newly elected major of Zagreb.
My city in Croatia is socialist-democrat stronghold (nicknamed "Red Keep") for decades, and this elections were no different.

NYC where I lived is of course Democrat as well. Only nominally non-leftist place where I lived for a while was in Baden-Württemberg, controlled by CDU.

But Zagreb is a different animal. This is certainly a radical swing to the left.

Always knew how stupid the citizens of Zagreb were but this even surprised me,Zagreb just opened its way to become the ultimate shithole..the mayor is nothing but a toy of Leftists multi cultural pro lgbt bs..Well it was expected..and they thought Bandić was bad for them ..Croatia is getting shit by each year with its politics..its just sad to see it..if Zagreb wasnt the capital i wouldnt even visit it once just like Rijeka,both shit cities with shit minded people.Thank god my region is poorer than other ones so migrants wont step into this radial E.Croatia.
