It seems that the ones who are better looking get more likes on their pictures. Not only on their pictures, but they can even post the most inane topics or threads and get tons of pages in responses. They can make a very banal uncreative comment and get lots of likes on it. I won't name any names, but I notice this and I think it's a sad comment on reality.

I never check my likes because I don't care what other people think --checking your likes is the new smoking :

YES I have probably already answered this lol but in general this is probably true not only on TA but any website you post pics on, especially social media and Reddit. As an example a useless mean whore cunt posts her stupid bikini pic with her fucking boobies in the camera like most attention seeking social media cunts and she gets 70 likes and tons of compliments, surprised? I post a high quality photo of myself with a nice background and good clothing on social media and I get 7-8 likes if I'm LUCKY and zero comments.....so there that should tell you everything you need to know, this is why I don't post pics online really anymore It's a waste of time unless your someone people want to admire or ogle unfortunately you will just be ignored and eventually feel sad and hate yourself from comparing yourself to others. I do admit though it will also depend a little bit on the size of your online circle and if your post has some meaning/caption behind it, but the effect is very small from what I've seen unless if the person in question is very popular or well known.

I admit though my photos I've posted on here in the past on TA have gotten significantly more likes and comments than the same or comparable photos I posted elsewhere like social media, but I think there are a few reasons for that. ol many people have probably forgotten what I looked like by now.

And sorry for reviving these old controversial posts I've been wanting the adrenaline rush and an excuse to rant lol. It helps me destress.
