Its not Greece bro, i dont think Spain wishes more Poles to come. Lets get real here, Spain gets most wealthy tourists second after France, they already host billions of high income British, German, BeNeLux, Scandinavian tourists. I worked in tourism for a summer, and i can say EE tourists are generally undesired tourists, they spend very little. Most spending & desired tourists are Germans, after that other westerners.

Well, I have nothing against the Poles (I suppose that you only make fun of the Spanish and Spain to annoy CV and that you really don't have any special animosity towards Spain or the Spanish), but I think it's not just tourists who Sánchez wants to come from Poland.

Apart from the tourist sector, also think about the agricultural sector, and relate it to the mini-crisis with Morocco.

Because Morocco also plays with the damage it can do to the Spanish agricultural sector, if it prevents hundreds of thousands of Moroccans who work as seasonal workers from coming to work in Spain.

Although I suppose that most of Poles who are willing to do that work, will choose Holland or Germany for the higher salaries, I would not be surprised if advantageous conditions have been treated so that Poles work here as temporary workers in the case that Morocco wants leave us without temporary farm workers.

In Croatia most desired tourists are American and Russian, they spend the most. While people like Italians are up there with other EEs spending very little and always asking for discount.
Germans just average, nothing special. But we generally don't get rich Germans, but mostly average working people.

Arabs and East Asians are desireable too because people who come there from so far are mostly very wealthy.

Polacks are not known for being tourists but just miserable immigrants. Fortunately we dont have many of them here. Many Polacko women are going to the strawberry picking every year since lot of time ago in Andalusia, they are cheap workforce and afaik they compete with Moroccan women for the jobs. You know, third class "citizen" problems

Sure, different tourist profiles for different regions. As a funny example, Turkish tourists are top-notch in Greece; because they mostly go to spend money there, because its cheap! You can drink 4 or 5 times more alcohol in Greece with the same money.
