The narration of this video is so good, unfortunately I did found a translation to english.
This happened because these whites from Portuguese Africa had nowhere to return (Portugal) different from most whites from South Africa who were already in Africa for some 300 years, in addition to the fact that the governments that succeeded the Portuguese in Africa were strictly socialist and Anti-Europeans, in addition to the fact that civil wars took place in Angola and Mozambique.

It's strange but from what i could read it's because of a convention which says that if all countries which border your country drive on the left, you must or should also drive on the left. They never drove on the right.

Yes, its true, portugueses of Africa were not old enough to stay in their land, most were 50s, 60s migrants probably and its also true the government that suceed was too dangerous unlike the Mandela sucession in South Africa. Anyway, the boers tend to stay in South Africa because they are too old and feel africans when the english whites left the country at much higher rates.

Mudando o assunto... did you feel Lourenço Marques and Rio de Janeiro way of life among their white people have strong similarities, different of Lisbon that people live in old houses in the 60's/70's, both Rio de Janeiro and Lourenço Marques whites were building skycrapers to live, going to the beach, their "boemia", both cities seems to have strong beach lifes (Maputo at least before 1979). I would say its almost a portuguese way to live outside of Europe in tropical/subtropical lands, but I dont know if Luanda was also like that, probably not.

Demais, o clima semelhante ajuda nisso.

I was aware of the Portuguese in Angola but you forget about Portugal being a colonial power in the past. It is interesting.

This lady reminds me of Agnetha from Abba. I know she's not the spit of her but she has a similarity. Pretty lady.

Imo Agnetha is a beautiful person, but her face is very east shifted, she remember to me some finn ladies. When the portuguese women looks a very western person.

Yes, its very amazing how such small european nation had such hungry of conquer and populate(not only to dominate) other far away lands.

Yes I know they aren't exactly the same and Agnetha looks very Swedish but the lady above just reminds me of her. Both beautiful ladies and yes the Portuguese woman looks more Western.
