How native is Mexico City?

I know it's a huge metro area. I've always thought it was another Ecuador but without the afro component. So both around 60% - 63% native. To anyone who has been there what was your impression of it? Is it as native as the studies say or more mestizo like certain users here are telling us.

No lo creo, Guayaquil si bien tiene similar proporción de nativo es bastante más negroide

Mexico City is considered part of central Mexico right? If it's between 60% and 70% amerindian how high does it get in Southern Mexico?

Mexico City attracts many migrants from the south. Hence why the high Amerindian.

What i wonder will mexico (or other laitn american countries) become more indigenous in the near future or less? I have the feeling that the lower class amerindians might get more babies.
