The Golden Horse dna was buried alongside other soldiers, who were genetically close to Tuvans, and the sample is afaik from modern Kazakhstan.

Here's an intersting article as an addendum to discussion; even bit more of interest for me as an E1b1b Slav.

Interesting thread.
But already a German that got Polonised (Adam Sengebusch) makes a first impression of being wrong also in other aspects.
So my second thought was whether the term "Saqaliba" at all is translated applicable with Slavs. And voilá:
"Saqaliba (Arabic: صقالبة, romanized: ṣaqāliba, singular Arabic: صقلبي, romanized: ṣaqlabī)[nb 1] is a term used in medieval Arabic sources to refer to Slavs and other peoples of Central and Eastern Europe, or in a broad sense to European slaves."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saqaliba
By this most of the motivations do collaps. Also the assumption that tributaire to the Chasar Slavs have to be localized at the Itil (Volga) is erronous. The Chasar Empire reached much farer to the west where it easily could have ruled some Slaves at their traditionally assumed locations. (Just have a look at an arbitrary map of the Chasar Empire.) So there is not much left for this fringe theory.

I read once that Slavs originated from the Jewish people, I mean that they invented that ethnos (term etc.), maybe to rule over? I don't know and don't remember more
