Why are Europeans still fighting each other here?

I joined this forum a few years ago and I remember I decided to leave cause all of the constant drama over who’s lighter or darker bs. So I decided to give it another try and logged in for the first time since I left and it’s basically the same thing, Europeans fighting Europeans. Like, it’s like y’all are out of touch, your continent is literally being invaded and y’all being replaced. You guys need to unite, the enemy wants you to be divided and weak.

Because a lot of those people think being lighter, or "less woggy" is a superior feature to have. Often times when someone argues that their country is lighter than another they are really attempting to suggest their country is more European, on the basis of old, outdated anthropological ideas, i.e; seen in Spain with Sangre Azul obsessions, nazism, among many others. But this isn't only a European topic, you see this topic being discussed among Asians, Latin Americans, Africans, and others. You are right to think it's foolish because that's all it really is.

Same thing would apply anywhere. If you have an Asian version of TA anywhere, you would see Koreans fighting with Japanese or Chinese about "who's lighter"

In the end, some people are more like "First my n'hood, than my city, than my country, than..."

TA is basically an endless loop of same discussions with same arguments used by same users.

I think people are conflictive by nature, people just want an excuse to feel superior to others. Like Chaos said, if this was an Asian or African forum it would be the same thing, people from different countries and phenotypes trying to say which one is best. You can also observe it here in the Latin American section/community of the forum, and I am sure if there was a MENA forum it would be the same as well, its not so much an European thing or forum thing, but a people thing.
