Sorry eurocentrists and ethno nationalists but Turks are white, I observed so many Turks now and they are clearly caucasian-white people. I think syrians and iranians are too, but pakistanis/indians are clearly not.

I don't know what Euro centrists or ethno nationalists have to do with anyone being white? White to me is very ambiguous just like calling someone brown etc. Being European only applies to Europe and ethno nationalists are only concerned with their own country. I'm interested in genetics and can see how similar populations are to myself or how distant. Europe isn't even all the same genetically and something like white means different things to different people. What someone would call white another might think as non-white. What exactly does white mean? Is it a skin colour or is it only applied to certain nationalities or is anyone European considered white? It can become pretty meaningless if many different populations are considered white whether they are European or not. Calling someone Latino is also meaningless to me. I know that it means someone from Latin America but many of them are different races. This is all my personal opinion as well and people will differ but to me your ethnicity is what you are. You are Mexican or Argentinian or like myself Irish. If white means a vast amount of people who have a different culture and different religion it is just a meaningless term. That's just my opinion though and nothing to do with whether Turks consider themselves white or other's consider Turks white.

Even these days ethnicity is now just someone who was born in a country or acquired citizenship. Someone like Idris Elba is called an English actor but to me I would look at him and know he is of African origin. To me ethnicity is your ancestry. I even find it strange that they call Britons anyone that was born in Britain because to me a Briton were the people there before the Anglo-Saxons arrived. That is because of my interest in genetics and history. I would find it odd if anyone born in Ireland is considered a Gael for instance. A white South African wouldn't go around calling himself a Zulu.
