Except for this fact, it is pretty individualistic and should have no a great role in the community. However, accepting the previous statement as a fact, both Islam and Christianism function the same in the hand of the Empires. Mehmet II held the Roman capital, his subjects were historical Romans, and his territorial spreading was a continuum of the Romans. The rest, on the other hand, should be Roman as much as a Christian Eskimo. The exception here is Southern Germany, though.
