Although, I'm only a newbie to this site, I've noticed that some members systematically talk in a derogatory way about certain non-European ethnic groups. (especially in the Anthropology/Taxonomy section) There's also a particular underlying ideology. I thought this was a forum about European culture and cultural appreciation. Does appreciating your own culture mean putting down other people's culture?

Let's make it clear: this phorum has a strong incline to anthropology. No matter what the banner says.

The people who have the time and will to dedicate hours to make sure their narrative is the one that is dominant get to define the TA platform, but since the only people capable of that are the jobless, and/or the autistic, and/or incels, they are actually very loud so they post a lot and so it gives the impression this is a board of hate.

You'll notice there are a lot of people on here with weird obsessions, some are racially inclined, others more fetishes, radical beliefs about politics, and society, etc. But beyond that, there are a lot of people on here who are also level-headed, people who you can tell have traveled the world, experienced many different cultures, and are happy people overall. It's a forum full of a lot of different types.

Having an intense ego to the point of believing your whole "race", or "tribe" is superior to another puts other groups down inevitably, and it's a belief that is detached from the modern intelligent world. By believing you are better than others solely on the basis of you being born white is idealizing a "luck" factor, not a "skill" one... bc you had no choice in being born into a said environment. Additionally, it's a mental conception that is a figment of your mind, not an objective reality that all others should cater to and so it can be quite toxic from a psychological pov.
