Are you open to dating/marrying someone of a different ethnicity to yourself?

This obviously very likely not going to be an issue for people in New world countries (The Americas and Oceania). But for people who come from old world countries (Europe, Asia, Africa) how much would this be a factor for you?

Im not talking about casual dating or one night stands, but actually marrying and having children (if you are planning to do this).

If you are quite strict and conservative on the issue, would you be open to dating someone of a similar ethnicity, say Slavic, Mediterranean, Germanic, Celtic etc?

My parents are both Irish so I don't know to what extent that would matter and who would be most likely ok with that. Irish are NW Europeans but are seen as slightly different since they're are less Germanic and traditionally have been catholic, although they're becoming more secular now (I'm an atheist myself with no interest in Catholicism). To do what extent does this matter to you?

I would have liked to, yes. in the end I married someone of my mother's region and ethnicity (I am mixed Eastern Euro). anyway all women are probably bad wives with time, and men just as bad husbands, I think humans will soon give up monogamy/current family way, I don't know for what, but it seems outdated, Western countries have most marriages going into divorce sooner and sooner

Longest relationship I had (8 years straight) was with a russian girl, so yeah. Even after breaking up we still remained on good terms to this day. Can work without problems as long as the cultural differences are rather minor.

Yes, to some degree. Unless she is not too religious and doesn't look just by the economical status etc then it's fine(I can't make too many expectations in my case )

But imo it's essential to feel attraction both ways, have similar views in many fields and just keep enjoying spending time together

Regarding kids, I'm not able to have my own so it doesn't bother me
