Of course, when prioritizing candidates based on let's say nationality/ethnicity, there can be a small chance that, in my decision to do that, I indeed miss the most suitable candidate and therefore I get a worse employee than I would otherwise get. But the thing is that it's only a small chance for that to happen. There is a far higher chance I get the right person by prioritizing candidates based on stuff like their nationality/ethnicity.

Would you highlight in your ad that people belonging to certain ethnicity or race, etc. can't apply to your job?

If I'm the owner of an airplane company, I will highlight on my job advert to hire some non Christian pilots because I believe that Jesus will come back soon and if two pilots were Christians, the plane will lose the control when Jesus come back.
