Yea. Surname Deretić and Illyrian tribe Deretini is a obvious linguistic connection. This cannot be denied, whatever anyone think about Deretić and his work.
Deretić is not only modern Serbian surname which match with names of Illyrian tribes.
On this map there are several:
- Deuri in central Bosnia and modern Serbian surname Deura (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milica_Deura)
- Deretini south of Deuri and modern Serbian surname Deretić
- Vardaei west of Neretva river and modern Serbian surname Varda (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ratko_Varda)
- Ceraunii in Montenegro and modern Serbian/Montenegrin surname Ćeranić
- Mazaei around Vrbas river and modern Serbian surname Mazalica (from western Bosnia)
