In Dalmatian hinterland there are some Muslim sounding surnames among both Serbs and Croatians. Some of them are from Muslims who stayed in Dalmatia in late 17th century when Ottomans are expelled and converted on Orthodoxy and Catholicism, and some are created from turcisms and their ancestors were not Muslims.

Kursula family is branch of Drobnjak tribe.
In the Dinaric region there are both orthodox and catholic christians with surnames that have Islamic and/or Turkish roots. I'm not sure how that particular surname came to be, but there's a village in Preševo with the exact name which definitely has an islamic root:

Kurbalija near Preševo is Albanian Muslim village.

Serbian family Kurbalija from Knin area has deeper origin from Old Herzegovina (Piva or Banjani), according to their branch of N haplogroup (N-P189.2). But surname most likely came from turcism, i doubt they were Muslims in the past.

This linguistic connection doesn't exist between Illyrian tribes and modern Albanian surnames.

Another example, Illyrian tribe Labeates from Skadar region and Serbian/Montenegrin surname Labović

    Still can't. Try genetics.

I hope with Deretic dies the Serbian pseudo history even though it will take some time.

It was probably just a nickname someone gave them. Unsual and unique surnames among our people are typically just nicknames that were adopted, e.g. Princip.

Albanians started to give Illyrian names as Argon, Teuta, Baton etc. in the last 100 years or less. Same goes for names Ilir and Dardan.

You started to give these names recently to show your "connection" with Illyrians and Dardanians which doesn't exist. Disgusting!

What is dying is Shqiptar fables. Serbian awakening is growing, unfortunate for Shqiptars!
