I remember dating this Venezuelan chick back in the days, she was form the Amazonian region of Venezuela, and i'd say 95% Arawak looking, she could very well pass for a Taino girl and not even be noticed by them that she was from South America if she flew back in time.

En Puerto Rico el fenotipo mestizo no es nada raro. En Republica Dominicana aparece tambien. Claro que son triraciales la mayoria. En el caso dominicano yo diria que son mulatos geneticamente con algo de taino. Bueno ahi tenemos a Andullero y parte de su familia. Es sumamente interesante.

Raro no, pero no parece tampoco tan frecuente... el promedio nativo es 12%, la mitad que por estos lados... es bajo!!

Could be but most of my Native American is probably Andean and those groups never reached Venezuela. Could be from my small percentage of Spanish ancestry

Well in that case the odds go in favor of the European side then... I mean it would have to be an extreme coincidence to have your Andean part linked to her Venezuelan amerind side.
