..In Italy many thinks that Vikings had been very very lucky to live nearby Europe.. Otherwise they would have remained uncivilezed if Italians or the heirs of ancient romans had not colonized them culturally speaking

Vikings even went to America, traded with Middle-East and invaded large parts of Europe. Italy included.
