I’m no fan of the Viking’s, or any pagan Europeans. But crying about them in 2021 is stupid. Viking’s also formed cities, conquered lands, and established advanced trading networks. They were immoral heathens but that doesn’t mean they achieved 0.

I am not defending the original post but Scandinavians are highly disciplined but they crucially lack the intelligence levels of NorthEast Asians.

West Germanics and perhaps mainland continental Germanics are more similar to NorthEast Asians I do not care about IQ tests per se but common sense.

But I think the OP is exagerating, the Vikings in 1000 AD would be more advanced than any Sub Saharan West African group that we know of, in general, at the same times.

But possibly 3 or 4 centuries before they were not very far from the Nigerians.

Nubians were related to Egypt and the Mediterranean through the Nile, so it´s not comparable, and they are East Africans, not SSA from the West.

Vikings in 1000 AD were "suffering" navigators, more than technologically advanced navigators. But what they did has some merit too.

They didn't especially shine as advanced people in the darkest of European historical stages, so try to sell them as advanced people, it's funny.
