Which of these two scenarios would you consider to be more multi-ethnic? (Part two)

(1) Apartment block with 100 residents: 51 are White British, 20 are Indian Hindus, 10 are Indian Sikhs, 5 are Pakistanis, 3 are Bangladeshis, 4 are Jamaicans, 4 are Somalis and 3 are Poles.

(2) Apartment block with 100 residents: 51 are White Americans, 20 are White Cubans, 10 are Black/mixed-race Cubans, 5 are African-Americans, 5 are Haitians, 2 are Colombian Mestizos, 2 are Venezuelan Mestizos, 2 are Nicaraguans, 2 are Jamaicans and 1 is a Dominican mulatto.

Option 2 because many of those ethnicities listed are multiracial. Even White Americans themselves are multi-ethnic.

But on the other hand, option 1 has a greater variety of languages and religions than option 2.

A lot of people here, probably most people, will say 2 is less multi-ethnic because of the 20% White Cubans. But I would consider them just as culturally foreign, if not more foreign than the African-Americans, and clearly a separate "ethnicity" to NWE Americans, regardless of their race (language is a bigger dividing factor than most on TA will ever admit). Hence why its basically equal to me, because both scenarios have 51% of the "local" population.

2 just seems like half of the country is pan latin american.
