Would be great if It`d happen sooner then later.

I`d really add priest/shaman of some sorts to the useful list, because life will become a lot more harder to bear (at first that is), especially mentally for most. So someone who will give some sort of comfort, listens to peoples worries and gives advice will be absolutely necessary for morale. People will also probably become tribal again, so there will be a need for someone who guides rituals, funerals and connects people to their deities.

Edit: also as long as there are no clear structures, a lot of people need someone, who reminds them of how to behave right.

In a post-apocalyptic world, what 10 occupations would best benefit your community, and what 10 occupations would be obsolete?

Well, I have no idea what the parameters of the post apocalyptic situation are, how fertile the land is, the availability of seeds etc. If we just delete all human progress, then you'd start with the most experienced builders getting to work on rudimentary shelters.

The most experienced hunters/farmers acquiring food equally to all people, and perhaps an inventive class, who's role was to improve efficiency for the above two groups, ex engineers and scientists most likely.

You would need women in the work place because to begin with the gathering/farming/building efficiency isn't high enough to support 50% of the population not contributing at all.

Breeding would have to be done systematically (because 50 women getting pregnant at the same time would basically kill the tribe). Instead breeding should occur on a cycle such that at most 10 women are pregnant, while the remaining 40 wait the 9 months before the next 10 get pregnant.

Vertical indoor gardening can supply you with essential vitamins and minerals that you would not be able to obtain from canned food and meat.

To set up a basic vertical indoor gardening system, you need a few plastic bottles, and some water. In a post apocalypse type of situation, this will be rainwater or melted snow. The most important task regarding indoor vertical gardening is to keep the water fairly clean in the process.

You can start small, with a few plastic bottles, and build up your vertical garden gradually. This skill will be extremely valuable is the post apocalyptic society, and it can ensure a living if you teach others how to set up this kind of system.

Measurements need to be regularly taken how much food can each farmer/hunter generate in terms of how many people can he feed. The number of people need to be divided by the number of farmers/hunters, if there is ever an excessive surplus the farmer/hunter must become an inventor or some other profession, by choice or vote.

However, in a near future post apocalyptic world, overrun with starving gangs of anti-white commies and gay mulattoes under the leadership of Pooping Carmen, a small crew of highly armed, badass independent truckers run the gauntlet to keep the economy running.

Jobs are bid out based on the risk to truck, loads, and operators. Trucks are pulled from Mad Max. Million dollar payouts for successful runs are common.

Basically speaking, any job related to agriculture, farming, animal husbandry, cooking and especially defence are vital. Anything else is useless really.

Except breeding ofc. The human race, or in that case, the tribes left, will have to find a program that will lead them to propagate successfully.
