Naaah. Obama's complexion is fine for a balanced mulatto (his brother's complexion as well).

Like Joe and Samantha, he is very passable among African American (light skinned African American). The interesting thing is that African Americans with the phenotype of Lenny Kravitz don't usually more than 40% european. Sometimes even less that. I suspect is the bottleneck effect among them.
