Split is criminal centre of Dalmatia nowadays, Dalmatian Naples. People there are most wild, my friends from Rijeka always had problems only with Dalmatians from Split and not other places.
Zadar is actually much calmer place with more mild people. We joke about Zadar as I said above, but people there are not wild and arrogant like in Split.
Dubrovnik is most civilized, but they are very weird and not even Dalmatians.
I prefer Šibenik ofcourse. Šibenik is something between Split and Zadar in mentality, but most Croatian/Slavic without strong Romance legacy like these two.
