Default How do you solve the problem of Evil ?

I still can't find a convincing explanation for the existence of Evil and it is useless to bring the argument of free will because "evil" can exist independently of any human will (family killed by a natural disaster, child killed by an animal predator, incurable and painful diseases, etc.) and in some cases atrocities reach such degrees that the argument of free will itself doesn't hold any more (children implicated in pedo-satanic networks, cartels' massacres and so on) How can such a problem be reconciled with the idea of a single infinitely good, wise and omnipotent deity?

It doesn't make sense why such an entity would let this kind of atrocity happen ? God logically can't have an evil aspect too or either way he wouldn't be a unique god since he incorporates a dual nature that's why gnostics came with the demiurge concept but I'm not really fond of this concept tbh.

God's ways and thoughts are above ours.

    In Isaiah 55:8-9 God says
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
    declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.“

The Bible says there are things, only God alone knows and nobody else.

    Deuteronomy 29:29 says
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

So questions like why does evil exist, why does anything exist, what was there before there was anything, is there anything after this life.etc are secret things that only God knows.

It does make sense in a way but I honestly don't think that would be a valid answer or either way there wouldn't have been so many theologians/philosophers debating about this for centuries. If many of these theologians discussed about this it means they felt like they would be able to unravel the mystery

    Ecclesiastes 3:11 says
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Now you can interpret this passage in many ways but I think what the author is suggesting is that God has put it in our minds to ask these sort of questions. So whether it be theologians and philosophers or even presently yourself and I and anyone who replies discussing this. It's God's will for us to want to figure out the purpose of everything. Now is God going to answer those questions? Who knows.

The author who wrote Ecclesiastes ends by saying no man can fathom it, God Himself says some things just belongs to Him only and His ways and thoughts are above ours, that is not necessarily a yes or no. I think it's God's way of saying Next question without giving an answer.
Maybe it's mysteries like these that makes us want to seek God out or want to figure out what is our purpose? It certainly seems so.
