Libyans are exactly in the middle of both worlds genetically.

that's not true I score less natufian ancestry than south italians for example. Indigenous moroccans/algerians derived primarly from a EEF and taforalt source

Yes because they both have Bedouin origins. Plus the parent tribe of the Banu Hilal are Banu Amir tribe which lives in southern Iraq. Though the Nafusa Berbers don’t look much different from these Libyans to be honest.

Yep, my grandad is banu sulaym, but my grandma is berber, but not nafusa, her family moved to Cyrenaica but I’m not sure exactly their exact origin.

Banu Hilal certainly made an impact in Libya unlike Morocco or Algeria. There the Arab speakers are just Arab speaking Berbers. Libya did have an Egyptian minority before the Arabs and they seem to be genetically close.

Yes, Egypt is who Libyans are closest to genetically, on models they are modelled as roughly half gulf half Berber on average.
