    Yugoslavia was never meant to exist.
    With the Treaty of Versailles in 1918, Belgrade had the opportunity to unite only Serbian ethnic areas into one state, but the "smart" king, obsessed with Pan-Slavism, went to liberate the "brothers" Croats, Slovenes.
