I want to convert to Christianity, I need some help.

I was born as an Iraqi Shia Muslim but I left Islam today after my sister died from a car accident.

I prayed to Allah to restore my sister but he doesn't respond at all, I think he's all just an illusion. I chose Christianity because it was our religion prior to Islam and Christian countries seem all happy with no wars unlike Muslim countries.

My new ethnicity from now on is Babylonian not Arab since my ancestors were all Arabized.

After thinking a little bit, I think Islam is the source of all problems in the Middle East and we need a change.

I'm struggling a little bit on which domination of Christianity I should convert to? Catholicism? Protestantism?

If you want to convert to Christianity all you need to do is accept Jesus as your lord and saviour, get baptized. Make sure to read the Bible too

Can't you just believe in God and not follow any religion? But anyway, if you are really "Iraqi", look for the Christian churches that already exist in Iraq like the Assyrian, the Syriac or the Catholic.
