ps. He doesn't have a very usual phenotype to be hella honest but his bone structure is very SSA-influenced. I could have thought he was a mulatto. In the first pic he looks caucasoid but then the other ones show him more negroid-leaning. Me don't know.

It's pretty obvious looking at him and from his dna result it looks like he has a very recent ancestor from Jamaica. They most likely were mixed English/Jamaican. He was born in London. Anyway it's obvious he has. I haven't heard anything about him and don't know what the controversy is.

Just read that he has been accused of faking having African ancestry because he accepted into a scheme helping BAME people get into theatre but it is pretty obvious looking at him that he is mixed. I'm surprised people couldn't see that. It seems that his parents identified as white (just surmising) but he has identified as mixed race for a number of years. Anyway his dna test shows that he was correct but looking at him it is obvious anyway.

It's an interesting case. There most probably are other people that aren't fully aware of their ancestry also.

But one of his parents obviously has recent Jamaican heritage. Not sure what to make of this story. It's pretty obvious with him and his siblings that he has African ancestry. There is only the one picture of his parents and it doesn't appear that obvious in them. It looks to me like it might be possibly from the mother. Very odd case with the information that is known but the dna tells the truth. It's strange though because one of the parents is English/Jamaican mix so the whole thing is odd.
