Have you ever travelled by wagon?

Indeed I did but not from one village to another or town to town, but I was as kid with my mums cousin on a horse wagon, to cut trees, and collect hay, he used horses and wagons to work. I think he still does, eventhough it is outdated in 21st century.

Umag is extremely touristy and doesn't even feels Croatian. You're going to most liberal Croatian region, so chances you will have some upleasantries are extremely low (I won't say 0% because even native Croat can get beaten up by some idiot somewhere if he finds himself in wrong place at wrong time).
