Some of the early Etruscan probably had high Steppe/Caucausian mix which came into Sardinia along with Pheonician colonies and slaves

Only in certain areas near coasts of the island you have this important Est-med contribution, that we could talk of a less "nuragh-like" population than those of Barbagia who have remained the most nuragh-like (the most indigenous), as for those of Carloforte, they are descendants of Ligurians and southern Italians.

The "Sardinians" of the North have a more tuscan-like contribution, they have more indo-european also

You have still some nuragh-like profil in Sassari, for example :

    Target: Sardinian_North:GRC14339391
    Distance: 5.3089% / 0.05308945
    82.8 TUR_Barcin_N
    16.6 WHG
    0.4 IRN_Shahr_I_Sokhta_BA2_I8728
    0.2 MAR_Taforalt

You have other sample, but some sample could have nose thing (like han, nganassan and other), some admixture could be real, other less or not.

    According David :
"I can't remember, but if there's noise like that then it's either due to a lack of data or bad conversion of data."
