There was created a "portal" connecting Lublin and Vilnius. So not even two capitals, I guess it had to be symbolic act corresponding with Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth cause in Lublin in 1569 the pact of making real union of Poland and Lithuania was signed there.







It maybe looks nice and stuff but irl it's just Zoom meeting on bigger screen and some public money went for that.
I don't understand how people have mostly positive reaction for that. I was passing by this thing many times during walks and many times there were people waving to each other. These people don't know each other, yet they wave to each other and smile *cringe*.
It for sure promoted tourism and many people will think about visiting Vilnius when they can see the piece through this wonder of architecture
The only good thing is that the portal will be present only to August.
