As long average middle class from latam would be seen as poor in US, I agree with it for any Latin American country.

I guess average middle class american earns around 70.000U$ per year, 2x more than Chile and probably 4x more than Brazil.

Even if the salaries may differ, I mean those in comparable occupations in both countries in question - professional, managerial and technical occupations.

Terminal neoliberalism has made the US middle class to shrink, though, specially after NAFTA and China's entry in the WTO.

More people there have degrees than ever before, even if their occupations don't always reflect it.

Yeah, but people can give you the same answer as in the case of Cuba: a title is meaningless if it doesnt put food on the table. And in the US this is even more so with the ones of so called humanities.

That's something I don't really know. But on many Brazilian comments about racism and racial inequality here, they used to claim that in the US the blacks compete on a more equal basin to the white, but I'm not sure if it's true or simply "the grass is always greener on the other side."

Ninguém deu a mínima pra essa Copa América, foi só mesmo pra cumprir tabela, eu nunca vi um torneio tão morto. Basicamente nada se falou nem antes nem depois da final, foi só um grande nada kkk
