Yes, of course. Actually, for most people, Arabian identity is associated with Islam. It doesn’t mean every Muslim is Arab but Islam is introduced to Levant by people from Arabia and therefore Islamic identity and Arabian identity are considered interchangeably in the region.

Ethnicity is more important than than meta-ethnicity. Rejecting the appurtenance of a group show that you're ashamed to be part of. The American movies who diabolised Arabs people as jihadist and backward don't help. Be broud of your blood mate.

This analogy doesn't makes sense, the vast majority of French-speaking North African have no French ancestry while the vast majority of Arabic-speakers do have some degree of Arab admixture, including Somalis and Lebanese Arabs. The impact of Arabs in the Levant is roughly equivalent to the impact of the Turks in Turkey, and Anglo-Saxons in England, so Arabic identity and culture there do have a firm basis on shared ancestry from Peninsular Arabia.

Identify how you want; your ethnic group has a unique history and it makes more sense to identify with that than with a broad meta-ethnicity.

Arabs are honorable people who value their values. Being Muslim isn't something to be ashamed of.
