Yup. My dad was amazed with quality of sport equipment Czehoslovakia produced. It was cheap but very good, from ice skates to camping equipment. Also cameras and photographic equipment.
You could buy none of such awesome stuff in Yu.

Its great Moravian mixed with Czech, Polish, German and Hungarian blood. Eastern Slovakia specifically has great Ukrainian/Rusyn influence also there were quite massive Balkan migrations of Croats and Romanians (Vlachs) to this territory

Slovaks are hungarians and hungarians are slovaks as you wish. Genetically they are descedants of slavo-pannonian (illyrian) popultion who lived here before the nomad magyars have arrived. Slovak and hungarian are same ethnicity with same national symbols, historical identity (since 9-10. century) etc but with different language. Slovakia and Hungary should have never separated, because they belong to each other.
The problem is the forced magyarization politics of hungarian elite in the 19. century which poisoned the very good slovak-hungarian relationship what existed before that.
