The purest of Alpines come from Southern Germany particularly Bavaria and Wurttemberg. Many of us always portrayed Germany as this «very Nordic» land. Oh well, it isn’t at all.

France, an allegedly Mongol looking variant was supposed to be found occasionally in Britanny, you will not find better examples of alpines outside France though Tajikistan is also somewhere with an apparently unaltered alpine form.

Obviously. Most people can tell the difference between Germans or most Europeans from Turks or Kurds or Arabs.
