Only Mississippi and West VA (if you count that as South) are truly poor. The coastal South (VA-FL) is actually quite wealthy and many areas of the South have quite a bit of beauty and nice cities and towns. New York city is literally a garbage dump. Its funny how anyone could consider the North to be rich.

It’s not about geography but the hardcore republican states are the South. Those are the states I see trying to secede, not the ones that are borderline blue/red which Texas unfortunately is and is growing more blue each year. Maybe I’m bias because I’m Texan but I feel like Texas is a strong determining factor for whether states try and secede or not.
Even the Deep South is not as hardcore Republican as America's heartland. Kansas is way more conservative than Alabama.

Mexican-American votes aren't guaranteed one way or another. Many of them have conservative, traditional values. Woke culture turns off many of them. It's antithetical to their religious views.
Texas is purple right now. Leftists only start calling a state purple when it's already in their bag. A clever trick, to be sure, because it keeps our attention on "swing states" that we have no chance of winning. Meanwhile, states we consider red, like Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, are moving left. And it's very much tied to immigration. California was red thirty years ago. Mexicans/Hispanics vote left, in spite of their supposed religious values. They may not be impenetrable bedrock like blacks, but they're still solidly leftwing when taken as a whole. Do not count on conversion; it won't happen. And if it does, it will only come as the right shifts leftward.

WV, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas all rank lowest in healthcare and education along with the highest percentages of Poverty. The sad thing is most of the states have the resources to be successful.

No way. Kansas had an opportunity to elect a truly conservative governor in Kris Kobach last cycle, and they voted for the Democrat. Barring fraud (which clearly is ubiquitous), that should not have happened in a state more conservative than Alabama. I think it's pretty clear that the Deep South is still about the most conservative area of the country.

That doesn't mean they don't have wealthy areas. Also Most of that is due to the large Negro population.

And Alabama elected a RHINO Republican who put far more Covid restrictions than even Virginia, who has a Democrat Governor. So just because something says "R" doesn't mean it's more conservative. I know that conservative Democrats are now a thing of the past, though. But I would say Kansas and the Midwest are still more conservative than the South, but not by much.

It’s going to cause a lot of people to start moving to these outskirts of major cities. (Which is where most of the red votes come in)

That is my prediction at least.
Texas may be more competitive but I don't see it going "blue" any time soon. I would say more likely states such as NC and even GA may go blue before Texas does. Any state on the East coast. Look what happened to solid Red Virginia. It's now blue as Colorado .

Some regions are Purple. The state likely is Violet Red after you combine the regions like a painter. Trump got increases in both Black and Latino votes. The times, they are a'changin'.

I don't really think that those mentioned states are moving left. Again, it's just certain regions that are skunks at the garden party and turds in the punch bowl. I also think that there's widespread cheating in Democratic precincts. The Slow Joe regime knows that, which is why they compare voting integrity laws to Jim Crow.
