Are Irish people closer to Norwegians or the French in appearance

anthropometrically in terms of mathematical measurement they may approximate Western Norwegians but in terms of pgimentation they are about as 'white as the French' if that makes sense.

The Irish are bastardised Norwegians who made their way to Gaul and later from Iberia crossed the Atlantic to Éire. Heavy mixing happened along the way which created the "Black Irish" race.

The Irish are much closer to Norwegians in eye pigmentation.

anthropometrically in terms of mathematical measurement they may approximate Western Norwegians but in terms of pgimentation they are about as 'white as the French' if that makes sense.

They are whiter than the French and even the Norwegians in eye and skin pigmentation, the French are more in line with the southern Germans and austrians generally.

Needless to say anyone that knows genetics would know your comment above is fiction. Just for argument's sake if the Irish above are as you say what would that make Southern Dutch and Southern English people who cluster more southern than the Irish?

The English are a German race, needless to say the Dutch who are the most pure German race.

Regarding phenotype I think the Irish look very Isles. They have a somewhat distinctive appearance IMO. Hard to explain without pictures.
